Nine. The Dragon King

{Viserys has bathed! Which probably means some awkward splashing in a sink, since a shower would be beyond his comprehension. He's taken note of what's going on with the network today, and he's decided to see if he can make contact with anyone from Westeros or Essos. He doesn't know how to do much of anything without servants, but he attempted to style his hair by pulling back the top portion and clasping it with a dragonbone brooch. His least grubby tunic, bearing the three-headed dragon sigil of his house, is draped over his silks and mail.}

I am Viserys of the House Targaryen, the Third of his Name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm.

Any rumors you may have heard regarding my demise at the hands of Khal Drogo and his Dothraki savages were completely untrue. I am very much alive. I am merely--waiting for the perfect opportunity to take back what is rightfully mine. The Iron Throne that belonged to the dragonlords of old Valyria for three hundred years. Let me assure you that the words of House Targaryen will come to pass with a vengeance--Fire and Blood await anyone who chooses to support the stag or the lion. The dragon will leave only ash and dust in his wake.

{He can't admit that he's being held prisoner on a floating ship by a god that no one in the Seven Kingdoms or the Free Cities will have ever heard of. No, better to say this is a stratagem. This was all his idea.}

Swear fealty to me now, and I will forgive you any lapses in judgment you may have had in the past. The dragon can be benevolent. Your rightful king will show mercy, but only if you admit your mistake now.

[A talking...horse? Pony? He tilts his head slightly to one side.]

What would you do about it?

Get you something that's less dirty of course. Maybe in a light blue, I think that color would look good on you.

Red and black are the colors of my house. I can't wear a light blue tunic.

I could, however, wear light blue smallclothes or silks or perhaps even a doublet.

Light blue doesn't seem a strong enough color for a king.

[Yes, he's just...talking to the talking pony.]

You're a king? Then of course we have to go with purple-it's a royal color, after all.

I am the rightful king of the Seven Kingdoms. Unfortunately, some Usurper stole the throne from my family. So, I have to get it back.

Is it? [That makes a lot of sense, since Targaryens have purple eyes. All kinds of royal up in here. Viserys approves.] I like purple.

I'm afraid I've never been to the Seven Kingdoms. Where is it? Near Canterlot, perhaps?

Purple it is! Oh this is exciting, I've never designed for a human before.

[identity profile] wakethedragon.livejournal.com 2011-11-13 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
Westeros. I don't know where Canterlot is.

Who do you typically design for? Other talking ponies?

[identity profile] projectroanway.livejournal.com 2011-11-13 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
And I don't know where Westeros is.

That's correct. We don't have any humans in Equestria.
